Solid rigid plastic PVC sheet is very hard and has poor solubility. It can only be dissolved in a few solvents such as cyclohexanone, dichloroethane and tetrahydrofuran. It is stable to organic and inorganic acids, alkalis, and salts. The chemical stability varies with application. The temperature rises and decreases. Solid rigid plastic PVC sheet is dissolved in acetone-carbon disulfide or acetone-benzene mixed solvent and used for dry spinning or wet spinning to form fibers, called chlorinated fiber. It is flame-retardant, acid and alkali resistant, antimicrobial, abrasion resistant, and has good warmth retention and elasticity. PVC hard board is brittle, has poor thermal stability and is not easy to process. In order to improve its performance and increase its types, it is necessary to stop modification. Modified types include vinyl chloride copolymers, polyvinyl chloride blends, and chlorinated polyvinyl chloride.

The product of Solid rigid plastic PVC sheet has very high temperature requirements and will change according to the temperature at that time. Considering its thermal properties, this kind of plastic board is a material with poor heat resistance, will be synthesized at high temperatures, and has flame retardancy. From the point of view, the electrical performance of the plastic board is shown. The electrical insulation of the plastic board is not good. It does not have the performance of PP board and PE board. However, the plastic board also has its own common characteristics, which improves the application value of plastic board products.
